You often times hear companies searching for a "back haul". That is a term that can get a company in trouble....big trouble. You can't depend on your steady freight to pay your overhead and take a back haul just fill the void and to get you home. Every haul is an important haul for the fate of your business. A blown tire can possible eat your profit on one load. A cracked head can consume your profit on 4 loads. Make every load count. We get it. Sometimes you get to an area that you just can't get out of without taking a depressing load. Sometimes it is unavoidable but, don't continuously put yourself in that position or you will be the next company filing bankruptcy. Do your research before you accept that final rate.
